All Lexi wanted was to start over. She moved to Key West Florida and started working at a hotel three years ago. Everything was just how she wanted it. But that all changed when she ran into a tall, sexy, dark haired stranger. Her one night stand turned out to be Chase Dean, the owner of the hotel she worked at. She kept telling herself she'd end it, but kept finding herself in his bed. He was her guilty pleasure and she was his. Lexi has secrets, secrets her friends don't know the whole story of. She's afraid that if she tells Chase, he won't think of her the same. But when her ex finds her after three years, she has no choice but to tell him. Will her secrets bring Chase closer or will this be then end of their guilty pleasure? What would you do for the man you loved?

Guilty Pleasures By Shannon Schoolcraft was a quick enjoyable read. It was so hot it set the pages alight in places with its combustible language. So to recap, we have Lexi working as a cleaner while running from her past, She's sworn off all relationships because of this. Enter a certain rich hotel owner, Mr Chase Dean, its instant sparks for these two, so much so that upon meeting, well let's just say its Horizontal playtime for our two lust-filled lovers, who actually don't even ask each other's names till after the bedroom mambo. After realising feelings are running deeper than anticipated Lexi and Chase try to navigate the tricky waters of a new Bond while still knowing next to nothing about each other. Throw in a crazy ex and let's just say its probably gonna be a rough ride. Now I had a few teeny problems with this, don't get me wrong I still found Guilty Pleasures fun and entertaining, but without these little niggles, my rating would have been much higher. So this was a novella length story and I think because of that I struggled to fully connect with the characters I just wasn't feeling the connection in places. It's so hard to portray deep emotion and ties with such a small window of opportunity to work with. I also found the background a bit scanty, it needed fleshing out a bit you know, Why? Where? What? And that Ex waste of words, in my opinion, he brought absolutely nothing to the board at all. So these few niggles pulled it down slightly for me. So, In conclusion, Guilty Pleasures for me was a fast read, it was well written and easy to engage with and despite my few pet peeves, still really hit the HOT SPOT!!!

I Would like to say thank you as I Received A Free Readers Copy of this from the author Shannon Schoolcraft and This is my own personal opinion of Guilty Pleasures.
